Deriving from a home industry, in the beginning of the 70’s was established a Balinese traditional fan craft industry named Dewi Ambha or Goddes of Ambha. By seriously effort to develop Balinese traditional fan craft in the very high competition with the other traditional fan craft industry.

Dewi Ambha gradually showed its existence and capability to compete and master traditional fan market in Bali. Although involving limited human resources and production tools, we continually improved our product quality to fulfill the market demand which at that moment derived from foreign and domestic tourists. The beginning of evolution happened in the early 80’s.

We began using machines for production process. Although it was not significant, but a real courageous breakthrough for us. We had obsession to yield the quality products in the short time, to supply the high market demand quickly. Today, with the new nuance and name: Wiracana, there are 60% of our products are manufactured by machines. Our products increase drastically, from 10 fans per day in the year of 70’s, to 1000 fans per day. To maintain our product quality, we use the newest technology by adopting sophistication of graver technology using laser.

The result could be seen through our traditional fan products. Our seriousness in running this company is increasingly stable, more than 70 artists involved in the production process, by counting on our newest products, Silk Fan, we are able to explore international market such as Spain, Japan, American, Mexico, Fiji, France,Germany, Australian, Italian, and other countries around South-East Asia.

We are still conducting more innovations to maintain product quality as the only fan craft industry in Bali combining Hi-tech by hand-made touch. Finally, we proudly presents the highest quality traditional fan craft product made in Bali.
